IM A APPLE IPOD USER AND MY IPOD WAS SHOWING ERROR MESSAGE
"DEVICE COULDNOT BE READ BECAUSE OF I/O DEVICE ERROR"

IPOD RESET restore your ipod to factory settings.you may get error code 1418 when you try to restore your ipod from itunes but it not the way.You have to use IPOD RESET utility to restore any apple ipod.
